Last modified 12 Mar 2021 10:22 +01:00

This is a description how metadata in midPoints are processed.

Please read Notation and Comparing values first.

Because all processing in midPoint is based on relative changes, the following documents provide the necessary background:

  • Change representation (no metadata)

  • Change representation (with metadata)

The processing is described at several layers:

  1. Expressions

  2. TODO

Data processing model (TODO)

  • Mappings

  • Mapping sets

  • some examples.

  • some unorganized thoughts about metadata processing and some open questions.
