Initial Objects

When midPoint is installed it applies default minimum configuration, also known as initial objects. This is a set of objects that make the most basic midPoint installation work. There are essential objects such as administrator user and Superuser role. Such objects allow to log in into midPoint and carry out configurations tasks. Then there are non-essential objects such as some archetypes and example roles. These objects provide a starting point for further midPoint configuration.

The default configuration is meant to be just a starting point that is supposed to be modified and customized for each and every deployment. Do not rely on unmodified default configuration, any demos or configuration samples. They need to be adapted for the specific environment of each deployment.
