Export audit

Last modified 16 Dec 2024 12:51 +01:00

Export audit command allows users to export audit records. Records can be exported to SYSOUT or to file (-o, --output) and compressed using ZIP if needed (-z, --zip).

This operation also support multi-threading (-l, --multi-thread). For more information about multi-threading see here.

Use -O, --overwrite switch if you wish to overwrite an existing output file.

Records can be filtered using filter (-f, --filter) option.

Audit export/import uses the same format as objects, even utilizing <objects> element, but audit records are containers, not objects. These files are only useful for Ninja import/export, do not try to use them in Studio or otherwise.
Example: audit export to a zipped file, overwriting any existing file, using an Axiom filter
./bin/ninja.sh exportAudit -o audit-export.xml.zip -z -O -f '%timestamp < "2021-12-01"'

You can use exported file in new environment where you can import audit records. For more information see Import audit.
