Basic CSV Account Tests

Scenario 1 - Create CSV account

Actions:

  1. Import CSV resource (e.g. localhost-csvfile-resource-advanced-sync.xml) through Configuration → Import object page

  2. Click Users → New user

  3. Fill in username field

  4. Click Save

  5. Open Edit page for created user

  6. Select Add account menu item from Account menu

  7. In the opened Select resource(s) window, select CSV resource imported in the step 1

  8. Fill in mandatory account fields (First name, Last name, Name, Passwords fields)

  9. Click Save button

Result:

  • Account is created for user. User’s attributes are updated with account’s attributes values. Account entry is added to CSV file which is specified in the CSV resource xml file.
